He swears by Zeiss optics used on Leica bodies. I dont know if it is true, but he has told me that Zeiss can make a plano element so flat that it needs no balsam to cement the elements together like the Leitz lenses do. I have come across fungus and seperation, a great deal with Leitz lenses. This man is constantly looking for Orion adapters to use Zeiss optics with Leica bodies.
