Better! The 70-180 is as good as the 100 APO Macro. The 180/3.4 is not that
good. I had a 180/3.4 and now have a 70-180. The 70-180 re-defines variable
focal length lenses. It certainly seems to me that Leica put their heart
and soul into this lens. I also have a 180/2.8 which I kept. I personally
find the 180/2.8 better than the 180/3.4 .
