Richard,

I'm about halfway through the book. It's quite well written (unlike some of
the Nikon books I have). And, as someone who doesn't own an R8, but has
thought about it and wanted to know more than the Leica brochure tells,
it's been informative. Parts are geared towards a beginner (explaning what
Aperture Priority mode does, for instance). But there's good photos
throughout and a complete explanation of the R8's controls and operations.
Later in the book is a chapter on R lenses.

Overall it's giving me a much better feel for the R8's capabilities and
limitations, which is what I was looking for.
