My experience is the same as Doc's, not at all like Bob's: I have three of
the quick-load spools, each in an M3, and each works perfectly. I've
rarely, but occasionally, had to "reload" a roll that my M6 didn't
initially grab -- but not with the M3 spools. The only drawback to the
latter was already mentioned, one must remember to pull on the spool to
reset the frame counter. So who at Leica said they don't work? I'm sure
Walter Heun gave mine the wink of approval!
