Gabe...if you are a fanatic about sharp macro work the original Leicaflex
is a real bargain with its mirror lock up and bargain 1 cam lenses but you
need to be confident with metering on your own in tough or filter
situations.  (No TTL metering).  I like them all...they are so inexpensive
you can get an original and! a SL (better meter) and have change in your
pocket.  I just got my first R4 (post16 serial #) and am pretty impressed
with it.....good luck   ( I have a spare original Leicaflex if you want to
