Subject: [Leica] f/64, pictorialism & diffraction

Greetings all,

I don't claim to much of anything about diffraction and such but I don't
know what I like. On her last trip to the UK, my wife picked up a book for
me called Pictorialism In California. She doesn't know about diffraction
either or that in some circles that pictorialism is photographically
politically incorrect. The book, as well as having some rather silly
images, contains some images that really move me and to me that is what is
important to me. Adams, Imogen Cunningham, Dorothea Lange and Edward
Weston are well represented in the book.
