Subject: [Leica] Trip to Thailand

I went to Thailand on November 30 and spent 4 days in Bangkok and 4 days in
Chaingmi. Had a wonderful time visiting that beautiful and cultural country
but the best part of the trip was meeting one of my fellow LUGers, Mr.
Phaibul Jotisakulratana. Plaibul met me at my hotel at noon one day and
took me Leica shopping. I bought a 3g and a 1g at reasonable prices. Mr.
Plaibul is a wonderful and charming gentleman and quite an accomplished
photographer. He and a friend entertained my wife and I wonderfully. They
would have spend more time with us but the insurance company whose sales
contest I had won had many plans for us and we could not work in any more
time.

The bad part starts when I got home. Returned home Wednesday night a week
ago and went to work on Thursday and Friday. I woke up feeling very ill on
Saturday morning and to make an extremely long story short I had pneumonia.
Today is my first day out of bed, I have lost approximately 25lbs and am
very week. got my slides back yesterday and do not feel strong enough to
even look at them.

Marvin I have not forgot the Viewfinder index but it is on the back burner
now.

Harrison I still must scan the photo of my fish and send it to you.

so long for now
