If you want the best loups at the lowest prices try the
following: By using a 50mm camera lens, back end up. you
have an excellent 5X loup. A 35mm camera lens is a 
7X loup. You divide the focal length into 250 for the
magnification number. Granted, it doesn't get the whole
slide (the 90mm lens will do it but at a lower magnification)
but---I get an old 50mm camera lens from a flea market for
about 8 bucks and use it for the above. It certainly beats
the cheap Agfa thing. Ed
