Gabe,
Pretty simple. E100s. For warmer: E100SW. Both beautiful films. Very
sharp and the S has just creamy skin tones for caucasions. The SW is a
little yellow/red, but not so beet red as Velvia, yet has nearly the
intense color saturation. In my opinion, Astia is better than Velvia on
skin tones, but has a coldness like provia and sensia--films I have
never liked, but which many pros swear by. So taste.

I believe all portraits shown on my web site were shot with E100s except
one that was done with no defunct (but a favorite of mine) Lumiere. But
all boating pix on Velvia.

Nothing is as cheap, in the long run, as film testing to see what you
like.
