Subject: [Leica] Old cement (was fungus in 28 Rokkor)

I have talked to a friendly repairman about the black dots problem in the
28/2,8 M-Rokkor.This is not fungus, this is the cement used for the lens
elements. After about 15 years, the cement gets too old/dry, and this is the
reason for the black dots.
Earlier, this was a $75 repair. But today Minolta no longer supplies any
spare parts, so there is not much to do about it. Sorry.
