The problem is that the current process for making aspherical elements
(it=B4s a molding process) only allows manufacturing aspheric elements up=
 to
20mm diameter. For a 75/1.4 you=B4d probably need something bigger. BTW I=

find the 75/1.4 to be excellent so I don=B4t really see the need for an
improved version.
