No it doesn't! The prism I have is a DP20 with video output located instead
of the eyepiece. So it keeps the matrix if you select it, of course! What
you need is an electric eyepiece shutter to prevent any light comming from
the video system to go inside the metering prism while you take a picture.
This device is synchronized with the shutter release system, so it doesn't
bother for framing and it's very fast. It's not absolutely necessary but it
helps. This system was constructed by Nikon on request to NASA or stuff like
that.

No, it's the only experience I have! But it works fine. The lense are much
better than those commonly used for video!!
