Subject: [Leica] Leica-Users List Digest V2 #148

 Luggers,
Someone, and I've forgotten whom (I'm sorry), was asking just the other day
about a nice user screwmount Leica. I had the opportunity today to check with
Jeff Trilling at Photo Emporium here in Chicago, and he has a very sweet
red-dial IIIf with a collapsible 50mm Summicron on it. It's in very nice
condition--quite new-looking, actually--but here's the catch, and what makes it
a user: it has a Leica factory employee's name engraved neatly on the back (in
the style that shows it to be part of the employee purchase program). But that
should not make much difference for a user. Anyway, if someone remembered who
posted that note, perhaps you would be so kind as to convey this information to
him. The asking price is US$850; Jeff says without the engraving the camera and
lens would rate a price of US$1150.
I'm not making a dime on any possible transaction, so this is not a commercial
announcement. Merely trying to be helpful....
