This is what is so mystifying about the people you're talking about. If one
is a collector of Leica cameras one should absolutely check the equipment
prior to purchasing it. One could be buying a defective product without

Failing that, collectors who buy sealed boxes could be buying just that, a 
sealed box!
If we could figure out how to make a sealed box with the right weight of 
sugar/soil/brick/whatever in it then just think what we could charge for a 
'Leica Hologon' box, or a '180/2.8 M Viso lens' or whatever?!
What a scam that could be...
