The whole idea here is to use Leica cassettes, which are intended for the M
cameras. (Not to start another Leica flame war, but Zeiss Ikon made all
but a few of its cameras compatible with its proprietary cassette, an even
better design than Leica's; why Leica didn't use the M cassette on the
SLR's escapes me.)

The Leica cassette OPENS when you load the film into it, CLOSES when you
open the loader, and then OPENS again inside the camera, so the film never
passes through a light trap. The film is even cleaner than with a brand
new Agfa-style cassette.
