If you insist on using a UV filter, you should be using a B+W multicoated
filter. Leica UV filters are not (unless they just recently changed)
multicoated. There is a big difference in transmittance in flare producing
situations. You can see the difference by holding the two side by side and
looking at the reflections from the front surface and how easily you see
through the reflections with the B+W filter as compared to the Leica filter.
