I want to add that I have had wonderful dealings with other Leica owners who
are LUG members. Many folks have cautioned me about buying and selling on the
internet. I have found that the Leica folks I have dealt with to be absolutely
candid about the condition of the equipment they are selling and their desire
to make a mutually satisfactory exchange.
I have no argument with Chatterton'e representation of what I bought from him.
It is just that with so many pleasant people to do business with, why should I
be subjected to the vaguries of his emotional swings. I'm the customer and I
expect a quality product at a fair price transacted with a smile and patience.
After all, the dealer expects payment for all of this and I provide it .
Mutual exchange theory - one should not to make excuses for why a dealer may
act less than cordial.
