Optically, a 180 2.8 with a 2x converter is a 360 5.6 lens. Thus the depth
of field and all other considerations are exactly like an original 360 5.6
lens. And the minimum focusing distance is exactly the same as the 180 2.8,
which could be very good at twice the magnification.
