Subject: [Leica] 35 &90 2 lens M-kit, what happened to the 50??????

The reason I don't like the 35 and 90 combination is the 90 just seems
too long when I'm working with a M-6. It doesn't feel comfortable to me,
a 90 is fine for close-up head shots, but it's too hard to see the
subtleties at further distances because of the M-6's reduced
magnification. The other annoyance is that the corners are missing from
the frame lines. I use the 85 to 100mm range a lot with SLR's but it
just doesn't feel right to me with a M-6.

It's a bit ironic that Mike Johnston mentioned most M-users only use two
lenses, a 35 and 90 after all the discussion about Smith and HCB who used
primarily a 50. I rarely use my 90 with the M-6, I use the 35 and the 50
about equal.
