Subject: [Leica] Supreme Court of Canada-freedom/privacy

No, the photo inquestion was publ;ished as party of a "slice in the life
of" type thing.

Incedentally, Yesterdays Globe & Mail (Canadas 'national' newspaper) had
an editorial supported the recent Supreme Court decision which restriced
the freedom of expression of photographers in Quebec.

Interesting position for the media to take?

Check it out at:

Before Monday

SORRY - I should have added that on page three of the paper they had a
picture of an unidentified (yet fairly identifiable) woman in Montreal
struggling with her umbrella (no story, just the picture and caption).
The newsworthiness of the image? - APRIL SHOWERRS IN MONTREAL!
