I find the R8's implementation to be very nice, once I got a feel for it.
It was a bit tricky at first, but now that I've got it down, I find it much
faster to do. Not as fast as an F5, mind you, which is much less tricky,
but fast enough. I can see how it would work with the camera tilted up, but
it would take some practice, I'm sure. I really like that the camera
advances automatically when you close the back with the winder. That's one
thing I really liked on the F5 too that the EOS1n didn't have. (At least
I've never seen that function happen on an EOS).
