There is an awful lot to like about the Leica cameras in terms of their
back to basics simplicity.  In fact I enjoy  my photography more now than
when I had a Minolta Maxxum system.  BUT  one thing I miss and I really
look forward to when I can afford an R8 is auto-film threading.  Being used
to always having auto-threading makes not having it cumbersome.  It was fun
at first of course but now its just a nuisance that for me adds nothing to
the photo taking experience.
