One VERY minor emendation:  "Tele-" is prefixed only when the lens is an
actual telephoto, that is, a compressed optical design.  Hence, the
original 2.8/90 was an Elmarit as it was a long-focus lens actually 90mm in
depth.  The later two designs were 'Tele-Elmarits' as they were compressed
and were shorter than 90mm.  The sole exception to this rule is the current
2.8/90 which is called an Elmarit but is described by Leica as a telephoto.
