Subject: [Leica] What's the truth about the ROM ?

LUGers,

In English Leica Fotographie 3/98 April/May
(about the new Apo-Elmarit-R 2,8/180mm)

As expected, the new lens features the electronic contacts
to communicate with the camera (e.g., exposure metering)

BUT in French Leica Fotographie 3/98 Avril/Mai

Il va sans dire que le nouvel Apo-Elmarit-R 2,8/180mm est doté
d'une barette électronique asservie au transfert des données,
"ainsi que la correction électronique des données de l'exposition
avec le Leica".

The difference with the English translation is more or less:

"and also the electronic correction of the exposure datas with
the Leica Camera"

What is the original text in the German Leica Fotographie ?
(translated in English, if possible)
Because I still don't understand why there are so many contact
on the ROM only for zooming the flash head.
And if it interact with the exposure: how ?

Thank you,

Lucien
