Martin, The "wing-nut" attached to the rewind is a "quick rewind gizmo" made
in Japan. It is very well made and whenever I go there I pick up some more,
put them on my cameras and invariably is persuaded by other leica M2 or M3
users to part with it. The price in Tokyo last year was yen 5300 and it comes
with its own little allen head wrench. I have looked at them and decided
against making them myself. My only critiscism of it is that the "handle"
should be knurled rather than plain.
Great accessory anyway, oh it is not available in black (yet).
