Painting. Lots of music. Racing cars. Racing bikes. Racing boats. Some writing. Most poetry, I think. All of these are notable in that a few people get famous and make a lot of money, but a lot of people spend a lot of time/money/emotion, have an intense and satisfying experience, but never make a dime of profit. Photography is in good company.... bmw
