Don mentioned his rediscovery of Black and White.  This has also happened to
me.  When I was in college I was the chief photographer for the student
newspaper and yearbook.  I remember many happy hours shooting, processing and
printing black and white photos.  I had no interest in color photography.  

After college I turned to color photography.  Only recently have I delved back
into black and white photography.  I forgot how different it is than color
work.  It is like a new discovery for me and I enjoy it very much.  

A Leica M system is very well designed for black and white work.  I don't want
to use black and white with telephotos or macro lenses.  An M camera and lens
really feels comfortable for black and white.  For some reason, an SLR does
not feel as comfortable for me with black and white work.
