If the comment concerns the M6 (what's an MR?),
then I don't understand why the answer wouldn't change
depending on the lens mounted.  The meter is TTL,
and reads the center of the film area.  The area read
would therefore change depending on the lens mounted.
Do I misunderstand the operation?

:It covers the same angle as the 90mm lens.  When you meter, select the
:90mm frame in the viewfinder for the (nearly) exact coverage of the
:meter.  Use one finger to activate the meter and another to activate the
:frame selector on the camera body (if you haven't got a 90 mounted.
