Subject: Re: [Leica] Heliopan filter

To whom ever originally posted the question regarding Heliopan filters:

I have three filters that I use with my M6: Leica UV, B+W Light Red, and a
Heliopan circular polarizer (all size E39). They all appear to be fine
filters. Which one is the better brand? Who knows? I was always under the
impression that these three brands represent the best quality in filters (save
Zeiss). For all I know, they could come out of the same factory! I've got
to believe there is some cross-over with certain filters. I'm sure each
company doesn't manufacture each and every filter themselves.

If your dealer gave you a heliopan filter, relax, its a decent filter
(expensive too)!!

Best,

Arturo
