I have been told both by Jim Lager and by Minolta USA that the 40/2 Rokkors
are optically not the same as the Leica Summicron 40/2.
Additionally, please note that the 28/2.8 Rokkor, while fitting and
focussing nicely on a Leica M-camera, does not key in the 28 mm framelines
on Leica M4P or M6 cameras. I believe it can be modified to do this.
