Subject: Re: [Leica] tele-elmarit question

Hi B.D.,

According to the Leica Lens Bible (ie. Erwin Puts' pages), the current
Elmarit-M has product code 11807. The previous versions include:

2.8/90mm Elmarit M (code 11129), 1959-74
2.8/90mm Tele-Elmarit M (code 11800), 1974-88 or 1964-74

Unfortunately, Erwin does not provide serial numbers for those lenses. But in
this case it does not matter, as long as you get the 11807. It is
distinguished from the older ones by, among other things, a built-in lens
hood.

Nathan
