1961  :-)
But not acknowledged by Leitz until 1966.
(nr.1 844 001) It seem that the coating was improved
(maybe several time), as well as on the Noctilux.

What I was only intending to say, is that a new M-50/1,4
it is pure speculation.
And like any speculation, it may happen.
I have guessed the Apo 180/2,8 and it happened
but I also said that a new R-50/1,4 was unlikely
and now it's here.
