Subject: [Leica] using my Leica-M

Since we're now actually discussing *using* our
Leica cameras, I'll tell you what I did with my
Leica-M this morning...

I took pictures of my Nikon stuff that I am selling,
to pay for my new Leica habit.

Not *all* the Nikons, though, because there
are a few settings where the SLR is more appropriate.
I have realized that most situations are easily
handled by the rangefinder, though. Even at
minimum focus distance, the M-6 handled the
situation quite well. (any closer would have
required an SLR)

I used My M-6 with 90 Summicron (just purchased
from another LUGger). I used a White Lightning
Zap for primary light source, and a Nikon SB24
with a small light box attached for a fill source
(and to trigger the Zap).

I'll scan the resulting prints, and post the
items on my web site. Through either newsgroups
or eBay, people seem to be much more comfortable
buying something they can see.

NOW isn't that a good use for my Leica?
