I'm interested in upcoming photo events like the one you mentioned below
in the LA or Orange country area.  Seem to be missing these. Where can I
find announcements or schedules for year round events??

Also, at the photo expo in Anaheim last weekend the Epson rep showed me
their new "Photo Paper" that's just about as good as the photo film, and
cheaper. 11x17 sheets will be about a dollar (when they come out next
month), which is gonna make my print portfolio quite a bit cheaper to
