[Leica] Reason for no foam in the M-6

Uh, the main reason you can't have foam in an M-6 is that it loads from 
the bottom.  You would probably destroy the foam loading your first roll 
of film.   Quite honestly, I shoot with too many cameras, but they have 
box-end frame on the back or windows to keep me straight.  I only have 
1-M6, but alternate films depending on the need, so I have to think long 
and hard after a few days as to what kind of film is inside.   But a back 
opening M-7 would look too much like a M-5, I'd prefer to keep the bottom 
loading construction of the M-6.
