Subject: Re: [Leica] Mis-information and innuendo

I have been reading many of these posts with interest. I have come to the
conclusion that even with :) and :( we really cannot determine how some
things are said. With that in mind, I rarely feel that anyone has
overstepped the bounds, or gone beyond the pale. I don't think I am dense,
but rather easygoing, and I always give the benefit of the doubt.
I know we have not degenerated to the point of shouting "Yo Mama!" at each
other, but it seems we, as a group, sometimes have a thinner than normal
skin! Maybe this is due to the criticism we receive from the great unwashed
about being snobs for using Leica!
So, I suggest we all tug on our Nomex underwear before sitting down to the
keyboard, and not get them all in a bunch at every turn. Really, I think we
should keep in mind what I was told many years ago; it has stood me in good
stead. Just ask yourself, " Six months from now, what the Hell difference
will it make?"
Cheers from the "slowzone",
