I note that your problem is only with the 75 1.4.  I had to return a new 75
1.4 a could a months ago because the focusing cam was improperly machined.  It
was not the right length and therefore would focus correctly.  I don't know if
this relates to your problem.  BTW, the replacement is fine on my HM and
Classic.
