Thanks for the useful info.
Yes, the Leica S1 Pro looks as the best scanner camera that money can buy 
at present, only its price is -at least for me- too astronomical... 
(around 25,000 DEM). Too bad !!!
But I didn't realize that the S1 could also be used as a slide scanner.

With that unique design and above all: that ergonomics.
Nikon ? Canon ? Nobody but Leica !
