remarks!

Adding my reflective foot note: It seems to me the LUG is a "public" (a new
kind of -pioneering- electronic "public" of sorts), and "public behavior"
always benefits from the application of the basic values of courtesy and
civility; and especially where we take on controversy and the vital,
absorbing, interests of others that often don't square with our own; or, the
bad habits of some that may have been shaped by other lists or chat groups
having little or no standards in this regard!

Moreover, I sense that on the LUG we can have substantial generational
differences (life teaches many lessons) that also beg good manners and
restraint on the part of all... for the benefit of all!

n't square with our own! The conduct of other lists and "chat" groups on line
shouldn't be our standard, and of course they aren't; but there is room for
improvement!
