Subject: [Leica] Touchy Subjects List for Web Site

For the Leica Answers web site I am putting together
(http://teachnet.edb.utexas.edu/~leica), I want to include a list of
"touchy subjects" or subjects that have been done to death. Hopefully this
will serve as a warning to newbies to tread lightly in these areas. I'll
try to include some sort of description about each issue.

This is the list I have so far:

Red Dots and Black Tape (as I generally avoided this, could someone send
me brief summary of what it was about)

M vs. R
Filters
Which Leica lenses are "best"
Oddmund (He's not been around for a while though)
Bokeh
Collectors vs. Users

And to a lesser degree:

Other camera brands
Photojournalism vs. fine art
High Price of Leica
Overly discussed new items
film
Scanners

Please let me know if you have anything to add to the list or if you want
to write a summary about any of these issues and why in some cases it is
best they not be brought up.

It might be best to respond to me personally so as not to cause the flare
ups we are trying to avoid.

Also, does anyone have directions for accessing the list archive?

thanks
