Jonathan Eastland's book "Leica M Compendium" has tables towards the back
which contain depth-of-field information for all Leica M focal lengths and
appartures. I'm currently at work, so I don't have the information at
hand, but perhaps someone else can provide it. If memory serves me right,
I think the DOF is about the same at near distances (1-1.5m), around 2-3
cm.

The 75/1.4 has a reputation of very high sharpness and resolution: It may
not be the best portrait lens. The 90 Summicron reportedly is slightly
soft at the largest apparture and close focus distance: many comment on its
flattering portrait qualities.

I don't own either lens, so this is only secondhand information, based upon
literature and LUG comments.
