For example, we say 6x7, 6x9, 6x12 when talking about the medium formats. Walking into a 1h processing shop and asking for prints, you'd ask for e.g., 9x13 or 10x15 cm. Common print sizes are 9x12cm (4x5") 13x18cm (5x7"), 18x24cm (8x10"), 24x30cm (10x12") and 30x40cm (12x16").
