You get a lot more subject per frame, quite economical. :-)

It's really quite a bit better. But then I've always like the 24, I just
think I wouldn't want to spend what people are asking. The last one I got
for $500. Sharpness in the 19 is way ahead of most other of Leica's wide
angles. Color is typical Leica, it's hard to describe. But when I first
started using it, I fell in love. Can't wait to shoot fall color in Maine
with it next month!
