My M3 just celebrated its 41st birthday thanks to Ms. Kr=E4uter's kind
attentions. I expect it to go at least another 40 more. The greater
question and part of the debate is how long will my M6 go?

I'd be willing to bet that as long as Leica can supply the parts, an M6,
like an M3, will keep on going, and going, and going. Now, whether the
electronics will, and whether they will continue to be replaceable, may b=
e
another question. But isn't an M6 with a dead meter just an M4 with anoth=
er
name - and a bit less quality control?
