is this the famous SBLOOI? I've played with it sometimes and it really seems
to be brighter then the real scene. 
The brightest finder I ever saw.
Very pricey, though.

For the king of finders try the 50mm bright-line finder
from E.Leitz, Wetzlar. One main advantage is that the image
is life-size (1:1) which permits you to view with both
eyes open. You actually see the subject in 3-D with the 
bright line "floating" in the view. I use this often, even
when using my M3 or M6. It was designed for the Screw-mount
cameras which have tiny viewfinders. Don't know what these
sell for used. I remember buying one when a student at
RIT in Rochester, New York, at a camera store called
"Le Beaux" or something similar, for about $15 new.
That was a lot of money back in 1955. Got a number of them.
