I just saw some Ektachrome 100 (the new stuff) run through the 50 Summilux
R. I have to say, it has to be at least as good as the 50 Summicron R.
Outstanding quality.

I would say yes to both - even though there is some doubt that the 28 R
being better than the M, I have heard two people who own both say the R is
better. One is Pete Stone, ASMP local chapter prez. in Portland, Or.
