Add this to the mix. I was just browsing Nina Berman's Nat'l Geo pages
(http://www.nationalgeographic.com/photography/berman/qanda.html) when I
came across this quote of hers regarding a personal project
photographing in and around Times Square. Take it for what you will and
who you are:

"The project is also very close to me =20
because it=92s unlike my other photography, =20
which is snap-crackle-pop, color, lots of =20
fill-flash, almost insane, and loud. My =20
Times Square work is quiet, and I don=92t use=20
a flash. I feel very strongly about not =20
wanting to bring any other light into the =20
place. I shoot with a Leica M6, and that =20
helps."
