Hello!!

I remember some postings a while ago about this lens and I'd like to know
if anyone who owns one would care to comment on it's performance.  I
currently own a newer version 180 f2.8, but I'd like a little more power. 
How big is this lens?  Is it a preset lens?  Does it work as well on R
bodies as on a visoflex?  Does it have a tripod mount?  When did it switch
to E58 from series 8 filters?  Lastly, how about a direct comparison with
the 250 f4?  Anything else I should know?
