Larry,

FYI, the upcoming SF20 flash is made for Leica by Metz. It has an LCD panel
on the back for adjusting the fill flash compensation up or down 3 stops in
1/3 stop increments. You can also run it manual or automatic. The only thing
I forgot to check out at Photokina was whether it had provision for a PC cord
for older, pre-hotshoe Leicas. It should work really well for fill flash on
the M6 TTL. Recent postings on the Nikon SC-17 cord with SCA 3501 flash
module and R8 should apply equally as well to the TTL camera.
