Hi Carsten,
I've used this lens for a few months now and am pleased with it, although I
don't feel it's any better optically than the Canon 70-200 2.8L, which I use
more often. I'd call them about equal, except that the Canon lens is twice
as fast and costs almost 50% less.

Cheers,
Jim

Subject: [Leica] Leica R 80-200/4 zoom

Hi All,

does anyone here have experience with the current 80-200/4 zoom for the R
system ? As a dedicated M user I´m thinking about changing my SLR gear from
Nikon to Leica; the 80-200 might be my first R lens if optical performance
is OK.

Thanks in advance

Carsten
